Install CPAexcel Offline

Windows

If you have a Software CD v7

Insert the disc into your computer and follow the on-screen prompts. If the menu does not appear after inserting the CD, go to My Computer, click on the CPAexcel CD, then click on cpaexcel_installer.exe On computers with slow drives or processors, it make take a few moments for the installer to load.

If you would like to download the installer

NOTE: If you are using a Video Course or have access to Lecture Videos, you must use current Lecture DVDs or an updated Flash Drive with CPAexcel Offline version 7 in order to view the Lecture Videos.

If your internet connection is too slow, you can order the Software CD here

1. Close CPAexcel if it is open
2. Right-click the download link below and then click 'Save target as...'
3. In the 'Save As' window, click the Desktop icon on the left, then click 'Save'
4. After the download finishes, close all browser windows and any open applications
5. Click the 'cpaexcel_installer.exe' file now on your Desktop to run the update program (Don't confuse an existing CPAexcel shortcut icon with this new file)
6. If you receive a security prompt, verify that you downloaded from cpaexcel.com, then click 'Run'
7. On computers with slow drives or processors, it may take a few moments for the installer to load
8. The update program will guide you through the rest of the install process
9. When the update has successfully finished, you may delete the 'cpaexcel_installer.exe' file on your Desktop

Mac OS X

NOTE: If you are using a Video Course or have access to Lecture Videos, you must use current Lecture DVDs (2011-5) or an updated Flash Drive with CPAexcel Offline version 7 in order to view the Lecture Videos.

1. Download the Mac OS X CPAexcel Installer by clicking the link below
2. After the download finishes, close all browser windows and any open applications
3. Run the CPAexcel installer by double-clicking on it
4. If you receive a security prompt, verify that you have downloaded the installer from CPAexcel's website before continuing
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your installation of CPAexcel
6. When the installation has successfully completed, you may drag the CPAexcel installer to the trash
