Simulations
CPAexcel Simulations are delivered through an exact replica of the user interface you will encounter during the CPA exam. Simulations are timed to familiarize you with the pace of the exam.
In order to view CPAexcel Simulations, click the Simulations button (see 
below) located in the Table of Contents:
Click on the Simulation title you wish to complete. Read the directions and situation. Complete the tasks listed under each of the other tabs located at the top of the Simulation.
When asked to complete the research tab, please refer to the AICPA's Access to Professional Literature. You should receive a username and passwords from the AICPA within 5-10 days. Once you receive the passwords, refer to the AICPA's homepage to complete searches.
Once all tasks have been completed, click on the done button and, if you are ready for the system to grade your Simulation, click OK:
To review your answers, click on the pie chart (see 
below) in the Simulation Overview panel. This will update your records to show your latest scores.
Scroll down to reveal the details button 
and click on it.
Your correct answers are shown in green; your incorrect answers are shown in red. All correct answers are marked with a dot:
In the case above, the incorrect answers were entered for 2, 3 and 5. The system marked these answers in red and entered a dot in the correct column. The questions without red or green squares were not answered.
If you would like to retake the same Simulation again, click the retake button.
