The Homepage Panels
The drop down menu allows students to select which course they wish to view.
The items in the main part of this panel represent all the top level sections of material. The example above shows the 5 sections of the CPAexcel Demo.
The only way to modify the course selector would be to upgrade from the CPAexcel demo to the full version, or purchase another course compatible with the Efficient Learning Platform.
The Scorecard is a tool that will provide a visual and numeric representation of your scores across an entire exam section. It also offers an alternative navigation system to move through the courseware.
When you first use CPAexcel, the scorecard will register 0% across the board. As you complete exams, your scores will automatically color the associated Progress Icon in the table of contents. The exact numeric score will record in the Scorecard.
As your scores improve, the numeric value will not only improve but move towards the right and your recommended minimum goal of 85%
The example above illustrates both the way in which scores are recorded, and contribute to the scores at higher levels.
As an alternative navigation system, you may access the scorecard from the Homepage. By clicking the title of a Lesson, you will move directly to the Overview for that lesson.
Each time you complete an exam, along with the Retake and Details buttons, a Scorecard button will present itself. You can use this to immediately assess how your last exam affected your aggregate grades.
The My Account panel presents the following information:
You may change the information displayed here at any time. Simply click the My Account button in the panel, or select My Account from the Edit section of the Navigation Bar.
Seminar Schedule
The Guided Seminar provides a structured distance learning environment with scheduled assignments, grades and guidance from highly qualified CPA exam review professors. Students receive personalized mentoring through online forums.

Final Review - Fine-tune your exam performance and reduce your exam anxiety with CPAexcel's Final Review, included with every CPAexcel course. After completing the courseware, drill from a library of over 4,000 past exam questions using the Final Review's Exam Tutor component to further boost your exam scores. Then use CPAexcel's Simulated CPA Exams to give you real-life, real-time experience taking the CPA Exam. The Simulated CPA Exams mirror the actual exam down to the number, type, and mix of questions, user interface, time limits and break policies. Exam Countdown
A simple motivational tool that allows you to keep track of how much study time you have until exam day. The timer is controlled by your input in the My Account form and may be changed at any time. Simply click the My Account button or select it from the Edit area of the Navigation bar.
In the News
The 'In the News' panel delivers relevant information right to your homepage. News on the CPA exam, the AICPA, CPAexcel and the Accounting field in general are compiled by the CPAexcel staff and delivered to your software each time you log in.
Pop Quiz
The CPAexcel Pop Quiz is a free email consisting of five AICPA exam questions. We focus on a different exam section in every issue. After choosing your answers you can check your selection by clicking on the answer link. Our web site will provide the correct answers and a complete set of answer rationales.
