ATTENTION: 2011 IS NOT THE LAST YEAR FOR IQEX. NASBA confirms that there are no plans to discontinue the IQEX Exam. Any contradictory statement, no matter where it is posted on the web, is false and misleading. It is expected that the format of the exam will change in 2012, with the exam being slightly longer and may include case-based studies or simulations for the first time. In summary, while it may be a good idea for IQEX candidates to sit for the exam this year before the changes, it is not imperative that they do so.

About the International Qualification Exam (IQEX)
IQEX is a 4.5 hour computer based exam consisting of 150 multiple choice questions taken from previous Uniform CPA Exams. The majority of the material covers entry-level U.S. Tax, Law and CPA Ethics topics. Candidates can sit for the exam at designated Prometric centers in the U.S. and Canada. Upon passing, candidates will be eligible to join one of 42 State Boards as a CPA!
