Free Continuing Access is a unique CPAexcel benefit. All courses include free content updates and free software upgrades until two years after you pass the CPA Exam. The following features are among the important software features included in Version 6 of the CPAexcel platform, released December 1, 2009.

Exam Planner:

Get your PEP! Just enter your desired exam date(s) or available study hours and Exam Planner instantly creates a Personalized Exam Plan (PEP). Your PEP is a timeline showing the exam events that will require your action (e.g. apply to sit) and the study assignments you need to complete to be ready to pass each exam. Exam Planner estimates the number of study hours you will need to pass the exam using actual study hours taken by successful CPAexcel students. » Learn More

Private Study Groups:

A Private Study Group (PSG) enables a group (e.g. college buddies who used to study together but now live far apart) to again study together on the same schedule and communicate privately. All members of the group must be CPAexcel students, although any CPAexcel student may invite anyone, including non-students, to join a PSG.

Course Manager:

Use the Course Manager to create new courses focusing on any set of CPAexcel’s lessons (e.g. Individual Income Taxes) to help you increase your knowledge of the topics of those lessons. Or use the Private Study Group to help you and other members of your department, company or professional association to master those topics, perhaps under your tutelage.

The Course Manager also helps you meet your PEP due dates. Using those dates, it presents your assignments, sends alerts and reminders, and logs your progress in completing the assignments.

Student Discussions:

Ask questions and discuss coursework with fellow students using CPAexcel's topical online discussion groups. The discussion groups are integrated with the lesson overview for easy access.
